CLAWFINGER are back - 25 years after their successful album „Deaf Dumb Blind“ the scandinavians are hitting the road again - to play the album in it’s entirety.
They are considered to be genre pioneers. With their debut album „Deaf Dumb Blind“, they created a unique mixture of Metal, Rap and electronic music. In 1993 CLAWFINGER gained world wide success. The album contains hits such as „Nigger“, „The Truth“ and „Warfair“ and is still considered a trend-setting milestone. Not only music-wise, but also because of the lyrics. Their lyrics are socially aware and sharply formulated, unfotunately alot of the topics are still as relevent now as when they were written. CLAWFINGER are still speaking for a whole generation. From The Archives: This is our very own Hi8 footage filmed from stage. Unfortunately it´s from one angle throughout the entire gig (with the exception of the last song) ,the sound quality is fairly poor but it still gives you a pretty good idea of what a show looks like for us in front of a big crowd. Found a video for ”15 minutes of fame” from 2003 on the hard drive. Have very vague memories of us recording this ourselves in the ”Fear & loathing studio” basement. It’s understandable why we never did anything with it because it´s not very good but it has some "historic value" so it’s time to share it with you. Why the hell did we record it in the dark?😂

@@lacriaturadekentucky it´s the opposite of racist but it was written 33 or so years ago and it hasn´t aged entirely unproblematically. We no longer play it due to the times having changed alot since then and because the political climate is very different nowadays and we want to be respectful but we still stand by the message!
